First Reading: Ezek. 3:12-27
12Then the (A)
Spirit lifted me up, and I heard a great (B)
rumbling sound behind me, "Blessed be the glory of the LORD in His place."
13And I heard the sound of the wings of the living beings touching one another and the sound of the (C)
wheels beside them, even a great rumbling sound.
14So the Spirit lifted me up and took me away; and I went embittered in the rage of my spirit, and (D)
the hand of the LORD was strong on me.
15Then I came to the exiles who lived beside the river Chebar at Tel-abib, and I sat there (E)
seven days where they were living, causing consternation among them.
At the end of seven days the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
17"Son of man, I have appointed you a (G)
watchman to the house of Israel; whenever you hear a word from My mouth, (H)
warn them from Me.
18"When I say to the wicked, 'You will surely die,' and you do not warn him or speak out to warn the wicked from his wicked way that he may live, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity, but his (I)
blood I will require at your hand.
19"Yet if you have (J)
warned the wicked and he does not turn from his wickedness or from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have (K)
when a righteous man turns away from his righteousness and commits iniquity, and I place an (M)
obstacle before him, he will die; since you have not warned him, he shall die in his sin, and his righteous deeds which he has done shall not be remembered; but his blood I will require at your hand.
21"However, if you have (N)
warned the righteous man that the righteous should not sin and he does not sin, he shall surely live because he took warning; and you have delivered yourself."
22The hand of the LORD was on me there, and He said to me, "Get up, go out to the plain, and there I will (O)
speak to you."
23So I got up and went out to the plain; and behold, the (P)
glory of the LORD was standing there, like the glory which (Q)
I saw by the river Chebar, and I fell on my face.
Spirit then entered me and made me stand on my feet, and He spoke with me and said to me, "Go, shut yourself up in your house.
25"As for you, son of man, they will (S)
put ropes on you and bind you with them so that you cannot go out among them.
I will make your tongue stick to the roof of your mouth so that you will be mute and cannot be a man who rebukes them, for they are a rebellious house.
when I speak to you, I will open your mouth and you will say to them, 'Thus says the Lord GOD ' He who hears, let him hear; and he who refuses, let him refuse; (V)
for they are a rebellious house. Cross references:

The Impartiality of God
1Therefore you have (A)no excuse, (B)everyone of you who passes judgment, for in that which (C)you judge another, you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things.
2And we know that the judgment of God rightly falls upon those who practice such things.
3But do you suppose this, (D)
O man, when you pass judgment on those who practice such things and do the same yourself, that you will escape the judgment of God?
4Or do you think lightly of (E)
the riches of His (F)
kindness and (G)
tolerance and (H)
patience, not knowing that the kindness of God leads you to repentance?
5But because of your stubbornness and unrepentant heart (I)
you are storing up wrath for yourself (J)
in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God,
who WILL RENDER TO EACH PERSON ACCORDING TO HIS DEEDS:
7to those who by (L)
perseverance in doing good seek for (M)
glory and honor and (N)
8but to those who are (P)
selfishly ambitious and (Q)
do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, wrath and indignation.
9There will be (R)
tribulation and distress for every soul of man who does evil, of the Jew (S)
first and also of the Greek,
glory and honor and peace to everyone who does good, to the Jew (U)
first and also to the Greek.
there is no partiality with God.
12For all who have sinned (W)
without the Law will also perish without the Law, and all who have sinned under the Law will be judged by the Law;
13for it is (X)
not the hearers of the Law who are just before God, but the doers of the Law will be justified.
14For when Gentiles who do not have the Law do (Y)
instinctively the things of the Law, these, not having the Law, are a law to themselves,
15in that they show (Z)
the work of the Law written in their hearts, their conscience bearing witness and their thoughts alternately accusing or else defending them,
16on the day when, (AA)
according to my gospel, (AB)
God will judge the secrets of men through Christ Jesus. Cross references:
